8/15/03, NEW PETITION!!! August 15, 2003 - BattlestarNewYork.com officially endorses the DeSanto/Larson Battlestar Galactica Movie Petition. Although there is no official announcement of this production to date, we do believe that DeSanto/Larson collaboration would be a well done production. We support multiple Battlestar Galactica storylines and if this production reaches a pre-production, we will promote in the same manner as the current Sci Fi Channel Miniseries Battlestar Galactica. 2/3/03 NEW PETITION!!!! "Battlestar Galactica" fans are upset. Instead of seeing familiar faces again, SCI-FI Channel is determined to change everything -- despite what fans worldwide have been campaigned for the past five years! Therefore fans are calling for a boycott of the SCI-FI Channel's advertisers until there are changes to their upcoming SCI-FI Channel "Battlestar Galactica remake" show. SIGN PETITION
Since this is MY site that I pay for, I can say the following message: The Sci Fi Channel is going down the tubes. They should rename it the Horror Channel. If I have to watch Shark Attack 2 one more time, I'm Gonna PUKE!!! With that said, I really, really love this following petition:

Bring Back Trance's Tail How dare you remove Trance's tail!! That was a horrible thing to do! Trance without her tail is like Tyr without his bone blades and dread locks. So you think the tail wasn't believable?? This is Science Fiction! It's not hard to believe an upright, two-legged alien has a prehinsile tail. So she doesn't use it all the time, maybe she doesn't need to. Tails are usually there for a reason-balance being the biggest one-and just cutting(or shooting) it off messes up said person's balance, not to mention the mental anguish of losing a part of one's body!
